Add Agar-agar to your preferred tea or infusion, and you'll start to lose weight while controlling your hunger. Weight loss happens because agar-agar contains an 80% of fiber that induces a feeling of fullness in the stomach, absorbs glucose and dissolves cholesterol. It aids to waste elimination from your organism.
Agar-agar is a jelly obtained from red algae, a seaweed that grows in the Asian seas. For centuries it's been used as a primary ingredient for Japanese desserts, some soups, vegetable aspics, fruit jams, and ice cream. It's also commonly used as a laxative. Agar-agar also has enough vitamins and minerals for the human body needs on a daily basis.
Anyhow, experts warn about ingestion of agar-agar only by adults with at least one 8-ounce glass of water, since it may swell up and block the digestive system.
